Figure 1 The measurement of ovarian volumes using 3D ultrasound. The Virtual Organ Computer-Aided Analysis method of volume calculation was used. The measurement was performed in the B-plane by outlining the ovarian cortex manually. The ovarian dataset has been rotated 180° through six 30° rotation steps about a central vertical axis denoted by the blue arrow in the B-plane. The resultant 3D model of the ovary is shown in the lower right image. Figure 2 Serial changes of serum AMH level before and after laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy. (A) Individual data. (B) Data are given as box and whisker plots. Lines inside boxes indicate median, and the upper and lower limits of the boxes and whiskers indicate interquartile and total ranges. Different superscripts indicate significant (P<.05) differences between the sampling points. Figure 3 Serial changes of serum AMH relative level before and after laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy according to pathologic type and bilaterality (A) according to the pathologic type (endometrioma vs. nonendometrioma) (B) according to the bilaterality (unilateral vs. bilateral). ∗P<.05, ∗∗P<.01 compared between two groups. Data are given as box and whisker plots. Lines inside boxes indicate median, and the upper and lower limits of the boxes and whiskers indicate interquartile and total ranges.
