Non Conventional NDT methods : Acoustic Emission جهت تشخیص نشتی خطوط لوله زیر زمینی – ایجاد ترک و رشد آن در قطعات ضخیم – تشخیص عیوب سطحی و زیر سطحی – وجود فضاهای خالی و تغییر فازها وغیره به کار گرفته می شود . : (Thermal & infrared testing) Thermography جهت تشخیص فضاهای خالی در قطعه و یا بین قطعه و روکش مثلا غلاف سوخت– تشخیص نقاط گرم تجهیزات بدون باز کردن عایق - بازرسی ضخامت باقی مانده لایه نسوزبه کار گرفته می شود .
