Series: A Prophetic Word Tuesday, February 23, 2016 Series: A Prophetic Word Sermon Eight: "They That Wait" Isaiah 40:28-31 KJV

Isaiah 40-28-31 KJV 28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Three Key Observations From Sunday's Message...

1. We are living in an increasingly more impatient society.

2. To those of us who are believers, our impatience is an indication of our lack of trust in God's Plan for our lives.

3. To those that are willing to wait and trust God, the blessings are worth the wait.

And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: Ruth 1:16 (KJV)

So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: Ruth 4:13 (KJV)

“You will get your heart’s desire”

If a man die, shall he live again If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. Job 14:14 (KJV)

“You will get back more than you lost”

Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you 2 Chronicles 20:17 (KJV)

“You will win in the end”
