The Direction of Blood Flow

First the oxygen poor blood moves into the right atrium through the vena cava. Next, the oxygen poor blood moves into the right ventricle. The blood then leaves the heart through the pulmonary artery and goes to the lungs to pick up oxygen. The oxygen rich blood then comes back to the heart through the pulmonary veins and flows into the left atrium. The blood next moves to the left ventricle and then goes out to the body cells through the aorta. The oxygen rich blood delivers oxygen and nutrients to all of the cells. After, the oxygen poor blood will flow back to the heart through veins, back to the Vena Cava and the process begins again.

Taking a break to graph… Tomorrow’s Heart Rate Lab will require you to create a graph of your data. Today we will practice our graphing skills

Complete Graphs What should a completed graph look like? Is this graph complete? If not, how would you fix it?
