EOSC HUB DARIAH CC: A pan-European infrastructure for Arts and Humanities Rudjer Boskovic Institute (RBI) Ruder Boskovic Institute (RBI), founded in 1950, is the largest and most renowned scientific institution in Croatia regarding the fields of natural and technical sciences, participating also in science applications and higher education. Today, the Institute has over 550 scientists and researchers in more than 80 laboratories spread over 11 divisions and 3 centres. Magyar Tudomanyos Akademia Szamitastechnikai es Automatizalasi Kutatointezet (SZTAKI) MTA SZTAKI is one of the largest IT research institutes in the Central European region with 250+ employees. the institute plays a key role in Grid and Cloud computing related research, development, and training as the founding member of the Hungarian Grid Competence Centre (2003), the International Desktop Grid Federation (2010) as well as the Coregrid (2004-2008) and the SCUBE (2008-2012) European Networks of Excellence. Gesellschaft für wissenschaftliche Datenverarbeitung mbH ((GWDG) Cloud-installations, data services including large-scale storage, archiving, and long-term research data maintenance. Serving as a competence centre, the GWDG advises and supports institutes regarding all questions concerning scientific data processing. Furthermore, the GWDG pursues scientific research for eScience infrastructures, which includes topics in parallel computing, Grids, Clouds, Internet of Services,

DARIAH Gateway Services A pan-European infrastructure for Arts and Humanities Cloud Access: Single-job applications and parameter-sweep applications can be run on the DARIAH VO clouds without porting efforts. Authentification is required to access the gateway service and then robot certificate provides access to the cloud.   Workflow Development: Complex workflow applications can be developed and run on all the resources of the DARIAH VO. File transfer: Enables transferring data from, to and between storage services providing HTTP, HTTPS, SFTP, GSIFTP, SRM, iRODS and S3 protocols.

DARIAH TS Service Category: Thematic Services Installations: The DARIAH Science Gateway offers cloud-based services and applications to the humanities research communities. Modality of access (Duration): The arts and humanities researchers can freely use any of the gateway services. (M01-M36) Support offered: The training material (presentations, demos, and training videos) on how to access and exploit core DARIAH CC services will be prepared. Training events (workshops and hackathons) will take place at major DARIAH and other relevant DAH events and conferences.

The gateway applications:    Simple Semantic Search Engine (SSE): Allows users to search in the e-Infrastructure Knowledge Base (Open Access Document Repositories and Data Repositories ). No authentication is required to access the service.      Parallel Semantic Search Engine (PSSE):     PSSE is a parallelised version of SSE enabling simultaneously search across the e-Infrastructure Knowledge Base, Europeana, Cultura Italia, Isidore, OpenAgris, PubMed and DBpedia platforms. DBO@Cloud: A Cloud-based repository presenting 100+ years old collection of Bavarian dialects. No authentication is required to access the service Kick off Meeting –INDIGO DC
