WALK THROUGH CALIFORNIA COSTUME IDEAS

WARNING! Any historical weapon replicas/facsimiles (if allowed at all) MUST be made of paper, soft plastic, lightweight wood, rubber or foam rubber, cardboard, or other virtually HARMLESS materials. ABSOLUTELY NO REAL and/or METAL ITEMS! ABSOLUTELY NO fighting, “play fighting,” or pretend use of weapons will be tolerated. This means you! If allowed, all such items will be allowed at school ONLY for the day of the California Walk Through.

Farmer: Overalls with a flannel shirt, a straw hat and a basket of fruits and vegetables.

Rancher or “The Law”: Boots, jeans, a long sleeve shirt with a collar, maybe a vest, maybe a bandana

Traditional Mexican or Spanish Person:

Governor: Dressy pants, a suit jacket and tie.  Carry a briefcase, maybe.
