Movie vs Novel Movie : Visual Novel : Text What does Ecranisation mean? [context: cinema criticism] An adaptation of a book, story, or other form of written or graphic work into a film

Ecranisation A jargon word associated with cinema criticism, an ecranisation is the resulting adaptation of a book, story, or other form of written or graphic work into a film. If there are many adaptations, each film is said to be an ecranisation of the original source material.
