Happy Monday! Please get your notebook and create a new page with the title “Act 2, Scene 2: The Balcony Scene”

Spend a few minutes answering these questions ***Passage begins on page 69 of your text*** What literary device does Romeo use as he talks about Juliet? (lines 2- 25) “That which we call a rose / By any other name would smell as sweet” (lines 46-47). What does Juliet mean by this? What tone do you think Juliet has in lines 155-169? In this scene, which character seems more practical? Which is more of a dreamer? Explain why and give evidence.
