Username and Password Username is your state UID. You will receive this from your data manager. This cannot be changed. Password will be given to you by your data manager. You will want to change your password when you first log in to HomeBase

Logging into Home Base https://hickoryschools.powerschool.com/teachers Your data manager will have your username and password. The username is your UID. Locating Student Demographic Information Click on the BackPack for the class where the student is enrolled

At the next screen: On this screen, you can click on the student name to learn more about the student. (parent information, phone number, grades, etc. To return to the main screen, click on the Home Base icon.

Reports: Two you may need soon Attendance Grid: Use when you have a substitute Click on Reports at the top of the page Click on the little arrow next to attendance grid Complete the information in the box that appears Select the needed dates Click Run report in the bottom right Click Open report so you will be able to print it

Student Roster: Can be used for many reasons Click on Reports at the top of the page Click on the little arrow next to Student Roster Select items you would like to print on the report The items will appear in the box You may move the boxes into a different order Add additional information in the Blank boxes Click Run Report Click Open to print or click save to keep electronically
