WHAT IS THE COLOR RUN? 5k run in the downtown Fredericksburg area Community and sports teams participated in event Weekend event in April

WHY DID JAMES MONROE DO THE COLOR RUN? Rachel’s Challenge How did we raise the money? How did we hear about Rachel’s Challenge? Raised money using the funds we received from the Color Run. We heard about Rachel’s Challenge from another Leadership conference a few years ago.

WHO HELPED? Leadership organized Other clubs and Fredericksburg helped Community helped with participation and advertising Key and sca, Jonathan and company, Rappahannock orthodontist, Dominion day, Jm Girls soccer

WHY WAS IT SO POPULAR? Groups got involved Affordable Engaging and fun for all ages Advertised well in advance

HOW CAN YOU MAKE IT HAPPEN? Plan early Get multiple clubs involved Use your community as a resource Ensure you have plenty of volunteers and help
