What is Euthanasia? Euthanasia is the process of killing a patient who suffers from an incurable and painful disease. Also known as Physician-assisted suicide or death with dignity.

Facts about Euthanasia Physician-assisted suicide is illegal in most countries. It is legal in five States in the U.S. (California, Colorado, Oregon, Vermont, and Washington). It is being disputed in Montana. The patient is induced into a coma, it is not a painful procedure.

Those against euthanasia argue that it is murder. The image intends to make the audience believe that euthanasia is like killing a person.

Falsely portrays a doctors role when it comes to assisted-suicide. The image argues that it is religiously incorrect to kill a person.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93smfNnV324 This videos purpose is to tell the audience that humans have no right to end their lives.

http://txstate.kanopystreaming.com/video/how-die- oregon The film gives a better understanding of what physician-assisted suicide is by allowing us into the life of real world patients.

Conclusion Ultimately it is the patients decision, as Gulli states in her article The New Pro-Choice, “patients are sick of being sick”. Carol Haight contributes to Gulli’s article by stating, “the key difference between assisted-suicide and suicide is the word assisted”. Those who assist the patient are not murderers, they assist because it is the patients wish.
