Columbian Exchange? The global transfer of food, plants, animals, and disease occurring after the age of exploration initiated by the voyages of Columbus. These worlds had never come into contact.

Columbian Exchange Activity Take an index card and on one side write New World at the top and Old World on the other side at the top. Go around the classroom to the 24 different stations and determine if the item is from the Old World OR New World Then write the item’s name on either side of your index card (which World you think it comes from). Review food answers: Write where the food correctly came from in the boxes on your sheet. Create a lunch menu and answer questions.
