Sexy Conic Sections Project.. Sexy By: Sexy Mack Heitchue & Sexy Dakota Hassa

Sexy Conic Sections A sexy figure formed by the intersection of a plane and a right circular cone. Depending on the sexy angle of the plane with respect to the cone, a sexy conic section may be a circle, an ellipse, a sexy parabola, or a hyperbola.

I’m Bringing Sexy Back..

Yeah

Sexy Parabola Sexy Parabola: a curve formed by the intersection of a cone with a sexy plane parallel to its side Standard form: y = ax^2 + bx + c y = a(x – h)^2 + k x^2 = 4py y^2 = 4px x^2 = -4py y^2 = -4px

Nick Fekaris Nick Fekaris

Sexy Circle Definition: A sexy circle is a sexy shape with all points the same distance from its center. Standard Form(s): X^2 + Y^2=r^2 (X-H)^2 + (Y-K)^2=r^2

Sexy Real World Examples

Cute Ellipse Cute Ellipse: A regular cute oval shape, traced by a point moving in a plane so that the sum of its distances from two other points (the foci) is constant, or resulting when a cute cone is cut by an oblique plane that does not intersect the cute base Standard Form: + = 1 Center is at (h,k) Length of the major axis is 2a Length of the minor axis is 2b x^2/a^2 + y^2/b^2 = 1 (major axis horizontal) x^2/b^2 + y^2/a^2 = 1 (major axis vertical) d1 + d2 = constant Foci: c^2 = a^2 – b^2

Moderately Attractive Hyperbola Definition: The set of all fixed points P such that the difference of the distances of the distances from P to two fixed points called the foci, is constant. Standard Forms: X^2 / a^2 – y^2 / b^2 = 1 y^2 / a^2 – x^2 / b^2 = 1
