Comets Comets – Object made of ice, gas, and dust that travels through space
Asteroid Asteroid – A piece of rock that is in space and has not entered into the Earth’s atmosphere.
Meteors - Meteors – A piece of rock that has entered into the Earth’s Atmosphere but it burns up before it hits the Earth. (shooting star)
Meteorite Meteorite – meteor that strikes the Earth’s Surface
