Francisco Vasquez De Coronado By: Kierra Thomas

Francisco Coronado was a noble man from Spain Francisco Coronado was a noble man from Spain. They in Spain, had land of Mexico and South America. They wanted North Americas land also.

In 1540 many Spain conquistadors marched right into North Americas land. Their commander was Francisco Vasquez De Coronado.

Coronado was a noble man unlike his brother who spent all of the family's fortune.

The Seven Cities has as much gold as Aztec empire once had.

To find land Coronado marched to the plains which now I known as Kansas. They met an American Indian, he told them a story about where the gold was.

They went and found no gold. Angry he had to kill the slave They went and found no gold. Angry he had to kill the slave. He went back and was charged for bad leadership and for mistreating Indians also for not finding any gold. But they did have the change to spread Christianity to Indians in North America.
