CALLISTŌ
Saepe poētae Mūsās invocant
`Nārrā, ō Mūsa, fābulam dē nymphā Callistō’
Spectāte stellās in caelō.
Ursa maior est Callistō
Callistō erat nympha pulchra. In Arcadiā habitābat
Iuppiter nympham spectāvit et statim eam amāvit
Callistō per silvās cum Dīānā errābat
Fībula vestīmentum retinēbat…
….et vitta capillōs retinēbat.
Iuppiter fōrmam Dīānae simulāvit et ita ad nympham sēcrētō appropinquāvit
Ubi puer Arcas nymphae nātus est, Iūnō īrāta erat, nympham in ursam mūtāvit.
Dum animālia fera vēnātur, Arcas ursam videt sed Iuppiter mātricīdium prohibuit. Ursam et fīlium in caelum trānsportāvit.
Hanc fābulam Ovidius poēta narrāvit et multī pictōrēs pīnxērunt
