Presentation transcript:

that your voice just escapes you? Have you ever been so MAD, SAD, or CONFUSED that your voice just escapes you?

In Grade 8, Melinda has lots of friends.

During the summer before starting high school, she attends an amazing party with her friends.

Something bad happens at the party.

but before they get there, Melinda panics and calls the police, but before they get there, she gets scared and runs away.

Grade 9 starts and all of Melinda's old friends have abandoned her.

She feels completely alone in the world, and her stupid parents are only making things worse.

She ruined the party and now everyone thinks she is a big loser.

No one understands. No one wants to hear No one cares. her side of the story. No one cares.

Melinda stops speaking.

Because, what is the point? Because, what would she say? Because no one would believe her anyway.

Melinda has a story to tell, but no one will listen.

Will you?
