Initial conditions of reefs are either degraded with 10% coral cover (A, B, E, and F) or healthier with 20% coral (C, D, G, and H). Herbivorous fish are either overfished or protected (denoted with parrotfish symbols). Each plot displays 20 simulations, with outputs generated at 6 month intervals and run for years 2010–2080.
