Random Acts of Kindness Project Wisdom Random Acts of Kindness Project Wisdom # 21 February 26, 2014
A few Words of Wisdom Good morning, South Seminole. This is Mr. Bess, Assistant Principal Take a moment to imagine a world without kindness. There would be no charity for those in need or compassion for those who suffer. There would be no friendly smiles or warm embraces. No one would care or share or try to understand. Think about how awful that would be. Kindness is a language everyone understands no matter what our race, religion, culture, age, or gender may be. Kindness connects us, one human being to another, and helps us understand that each one of us has the power to make a difference by being kind to someone else. .
Someone wise once said that: Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver. Make a special effort to look for opportunities to provide random acts of kindness this week. With something to think about, this is Mr. Bess. Make it a great day… or not. The choice is yours.
Whole Group Discussion What role does kindness play in a school's culture or climate? What role does kindness play in preventing school violence? On a scale of one to ten, how would you rate our school's general level of kindness?
