Henry VIII Later Foreign Policy

Recap: Early foreign policy 1509-1529 Henry had won victories (albeit pretty insignificant ones!) in which two countries? The Pope had called for a crusade against which Muslim Empire? Wolsey created the Treaty of London, what did this say? What was the impact of the Treaty of London? Which country was encircled when Charles V became HRE, ruler of the Netherlands and King of Spain? Wolsey/Henry organised meeting with both sides at first, where did he meet Francis I? Who’s side did Wolsey/Henry initially take? Why did Wolsey/Henry swap sides? Which treaty signalled the end of the conflict between England/France and the Habsburgs?

By the end of this lesson, everybody will be able to… Recap Henry’s later foreign policy (1530-1547)
