Evidence for a Spherical Earth Earth Science Mr. Cloud

Evidence #1 ‘Sinking ships on the Horizon’ As a ships sails away from an observer, it appears to sink below the horizon

Evidence #2 Lunar Eclipses Earth’s umbral shadow Lunar Eclipses The shadow cast upon the moon is curved or circular

Evidence #3 Photos from Space Typhoon passing over the pacific ocean as viewed by the International Space Station

Evidence #4: Equal Weight @ Sea Level Earth’s gravitational center can be found within Earth’s core. If standing at sea level, anywhere on Earth, an observer would be equidistant from Earth’s center. Therefore, an observer’ weight will not vary when standing at sea level anywhere on the planet. ***Note: Distance will vary from the equator to poles, due to equatorial diameter being slightly greater than polar.
