Activity Statements: Students will discuss successes and challenges of the 1st semester and plan to improve 2nd semester. This lesson gives you the opportunity to reflect on your 1st semester experience.

Materials: 1st Semester Reflection Questions (slides 5-8)

Procedure Options: Have students work in groups, pairs, or individually to complete the reflection questions.

1st Semester Reflection Questions 1. What did you find most challenging about 1st semester? 2. What are you are most proud of? 3. What are some things about which you are most disappointed?

1st Semester Reflection Questions 4. What are some things you would do differently if you had 1st semester to do over? 5. Describe one goal you wish to accomplish 2nd semester. How will you reach this goal? 6. Is there a correlation between your effort and your grades?

1st Semester Reflection Questions 7. Can your attitude impact your grades? 8. Do your grades impact your future career choices? If yes, how?
