Types of Data

Primary vs. Secondary Data

There are two main types of qualitative data NOMINAL and ORDINAL Data is a collection of facts, such as numbers, words, measurements, observations or even just descriptions of things. Qualitative data (categorical) is descriptive information (it describes something) Quantitative data (numerical  is numerical information (numbers) There are two main types of qualitative data NOMINAL and ORDINAL there are two main types of quantitative data CATEGORICAL and NUMERICAL
