Know The Lord 1 Chronicles 28:9

1 Chronicles 28:9 "As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.

Know The Lord Failure to know God is common Two different words translated “know” Oida “be (intimately) acquainted with, stand in a (close) relation to.” Ginosko “come to know” How can we come to “know the Lord”?

Know The Lord By hearing and considering “His thoughts” Through Obedience Through the fellowship of His sufferings

Know The Lord By being a “partaker of the divine nature” The only real glory is in this true knowledge of God He is not far from each one of us
