Why I Hunt

Setting - Nighttime - Cabin - Birkin Forest - Last day of hunting season

Initiating Incident “As I reached the heart of the forest, the bike started to slow down for no apparent reason. I checked the gas and realized it had been empty.”

Crisis #1 “When I walked a few more steps, a bear emerged from the bushes ahead of me.”

Crisis #2 I had not seen the ditch and fallen into it. I was knocked unconscious.

Crisis #3 “With great precision, I fired my rifle. A loud shot emanated from my location. However, I had missed the target completely.”

Climax “With all the remaining air in my lungs, I sprinted forwards towards the opening in the forest. When I got out of the forest, I reached for my cell phone. I had finally gotten a phone signal!”

Falling Action “Suddenly, I woke up sweating and panting like a thirsty dog. I thought I was in heaven, but then I realized everything that happened was all just a dream.”

Conclusion “Then, I called up my hunting buddies and asked them if they wanted to join me for a hunting trip.
