Girlguiding Anywhere County 40% of girls stayed longer than 3 years Brownies – 2,533 523 of girls joining Brownies had been Rainbows previously. This is 43% of the total joiners in the year. 1,322 Brownies left between August 2015 and 2016. 410 went to Guides. 6 moved. 909 left Girlguiding. 436 of the leavers left at the point of transition to Guides. Guides – 1,396 436 of girls joining Guides had been Brownies previously. This is 74% of the total joiners in the year. 658 Guides left between August 2015 and 2016. 93 went to The Senior Section. 2 moved. 560 left Girlguiding. 126 of the leavers left at the point of transition to The Senior Section. Rainbows – 1,143 851 Rainbows left between August 2015 and 2016. 491 went to Brownies. 4 moved. 354 left Girlguiding. 198 of the leavers left at the point of transition to Brownies.
