Year 9 History The Age of Empire Learning Gain: All learners will explore the causes and consequences of British Imperialism. Today we will: Reflect on unit content. Draw conclusions about a specific colony’s imperial experience. Develop a historical perspective based on a British explorer’s experience.

In your assessment for this unit, you need to take on the Historical Perspective of someone living in one of the colonies during the Age of Empire. Your journal entries will try to capture the imperial experience in that particular colony.
