3-23 Directions: You have just gotten a job as a writer for National Geographic.  Your editor wants you to write a piece on Native Americans. Most Native American tribes have passed down their histories through the tradition of oral storytelling.  You need to write an “interview” of a Native American, recording the time period between the Civil War and 1900. What happened? What changed? What is needed for full credit: At least seven (7)  facts in the story Cite each fact source & title Use red or blue for the fact Written in the format of a story (think about grandma ramblin’ on about the good ol’ days) 200 - 300 words Spelling, punctuation, grammar, and all that other ELA stuff Grade will be assigned at the start of the next quarter.
