How to find adjectives ina sentence

What are adjectives? A word used to modify, or describe, a noun or pronoun Usually precede the words they modify Usually answers one of the following questions: Which one? What kind of? How many?

Sample Adjectives Notice the placement of each adjective to the noun which it modifies The grey elephant threw dust over his back at the zoo. [Grey answers which elephant?] Brenda enjoys collecting rare old spoons. [rare old answers what kind of stamps?] Nathan blew out thirteen candles on his cake. [thirteen answers how many candles?]
