By Ethan. Time can be a unit of measurement. There are 60 second in 1 minute. There is 60 minutes in 1 hour and there are 365 days in a year. Interesting Fact…. There are minutes in 1 year. Time is used every day for lots of things.

12 hour time AM stands for Ante Meridiem. Which means before noon. PM stands for Post Meridiem. Which means after noon. 12 hour time is where you use 1 o'clock instead of using 1300 hours.

24 hour time 24 hour is where time runs from midnight- midnight or in other words 12 – Sometimes you dont realise it but you use 24 hour time every day.
