Step One Divide your paper into four equal parts On the top left, write Revolution of 1911 On the top right, write Communist Revolution of 1949 On the bottom left, write Great Leap Forward On the bottom right, write Cultural Revolution

Step Two In each square, list significant facts, causes, and results of each of these events. For example, under “communist revolution of 1949, it would be good to list the leader, the fact that, after working together during WWII the two Chinese factions had a civil war, who supported the efforts of the Communists, and that the Guomindang fled to Taiwan.

Step Three Create a picture showing what happened during each of these periods in Chinese History, one for each square.
