International Youth Mobility Project « Mobility, Integration and young people in difficulty »

Dynamo International Short presentation (I) Creation on March 2001 by the non-profit organization « Dynamo AMO » (service for youngsters in open environment) Objects: - development in the field of street children and youngsters, education and street work; - promotion of a society based on exchange, tolerance, equality and international solidarity.

Dynamo International Short presentation (II) Two strands of action: → the coordination of the International Network of social street workers (42 countries, exchanges of practices, opportunity for fields actions to speak up, EU Progress Programme); → Mobility Project: operational since June 2010, 4 persons working in Brussels and others cities in the French Community of Belgium.

Aims of the Project « Mobility, Integration and young people in difficulty » General awareness of the public, the youngsters themselves and the diferent actors implicated; Facilitate access to non-formal education programmes through international mobility projects for young people in difficulty and assist them throughout their project; Assist actors in the field of youth sector on the implementation of mobility collectives projects;

Work Strategies (I) General awareness, information: → sessions few times a week in the offices of diferent partners in Brussels and others cities of the French Community of Belgium ; → Participation to various events to raise public in general, young people and professionals

Work Strategies (II) Support young people all along the individual project development: → Support during the preparation of the individual mobility project (CV writing, host association, elaboration of the file sometimes with the help of a street worker who knows the youth and the familiy, …); → Support during the stay (contact with the reference person in Dynamo International and often a street worker); → Support during the return (return to school, jobseeker, …).

Work Strategies (III) Information of the actors of youth sector: → Information about the possibilities of training, conferences about exchanges of practices, networking; → Mobilization of the International Network of street workers.
