Presentation transcript:

Procedure, Discussion, and Conclusion,

OBJECTIVE: Students will analyze the ingredients of an effective Discussion to a Scientific report.

Turn with your partner and discuss the data you collected on your paper airplanes? What was your farthest flights? Who was the farthest in class

Describe what happened in the experiment What do your results show of the differences in your control and experimental groups. How can you improve your planes next time? How were you creative in completing this project? What did you do out of the ordinary?

OBJECTIVE: Students will analyze the ingredients of an effective Conclusion to a Scientific report.

Conclusion How does the outcome of your experiment support the hypothesis you developed? How did your procedure demonstrate the Scientific Method? What did you learn?

OBJECTIVE: Students will analyze the ingredients of an effective Procedure to a Scientific report.

Procedure: 1. Students assembled two different airplanes-one a control the other an experimental. The variable is recognized to be: staples, lower wingspan, more rigid flight, etc. Students test flew their airplanes in a hallway measuring 30 feet. 5 test flights for the control and 5 test flights for the experimental were tested Students analyzed their data.

Scientific Method Reports are Due Wednesday Reports must be typed OR written with excellent penmanship in print. Scholars who go above and beyond and are able to stand out among other reports will be recognized by having their research displayed for all JEI outside Mr. Fields door.
