Game Set-up & Host Directions Template developed by Brandy Thatcher, Illinois Central College Go to Each slide in the presentation and type in the Answer (given to player/ team) and then type the correct question on the next slide (what we want player to say). Enter the categories on the main game board. You can enter the category in the box in the upper left corner of each answer/ question slide or you can leave them labeled Category 1 – 5 When you click a point level button on the game board it takes you to the answer. Click the blue play button to start the timer – when time is up (40 seconds), youll hear a ding and the team captain must give the correct question. When they have given the question, you can click on the Correct button to show the correct question. If answer is incorrect you can give other teams an opportunity to answer b/f you click on the correct question. Captain with hand raised first gets opportunity to give correct question for the points. Or if incorrect you can just click the game board icon to go to the main game board and that answer/ question is removed from the board.

Game Set-up & Host Directions To give points for a team that gives the correct question – Click scoreboard and youll be taken to a screen to keep track of team/ player points. On the scoreboard screen click the name of the team (or the score text box next to the team name) whom answered correctly, a pop up box will prompt you to enter the amount of points the question is worth. Enter the amount of points there question was worth and click Ok. Click the gameboard icon to go back to the main game board. Continue play until the gameboard is empty, (all categories and point levels have been played.) On the scoreboard – Click Final Jeopardy

Game Set-up & Host Directions Final Jeopardy Instructions: Choose 1 person from your team to play. Only teams with more than 0 points can play. Take out 1 piece of paper and a pen. Write your point wager and your team # on the paper. You may discuss point wager w/ your team. Host ask each team to announce their point wager.Each Person will have 20 seconds to write the Correct question. You may not discuss this with your team. Scoring Instructions: Final Jeopardy – if team answer is correct – click on team # - when prompted enter point value wagered and click ok. IF INCORRECT – click team # and enter a negative (minus) sign first then the point value wagered. Once all team scores have been adjusted for Final Jeopardy – Determine your WINNER!!!

Game Play Instructions Students will be divided into teams – each team should choose a team captain. Team captain will be the speaker for the team. Team captain will tell host category and point level. Answer should be in the form of a question. Team will be given an answer – team has 40 seconds to discuss answer. On Time-up team captain will need to give question. If Correct, correct question will be shown and then points will be added on scoreboard. If Incorrect, give other teams opportunity to give correct question, team captain with hand raised first can give one response. (Optional) If Correct, correct question shown and points added to scoreboard.
