Welcome to the Faculty of Political Science! Short Guide for international students

Course information Public Service Media (Master – 7 ECTS) won’t be held this semeter Television News in Multimedia Environment (Master – 7 ECTS) will be held this semester

Autumn School on Political and Economic Aspects of Taiwan and East Asia The School shall include three modules of 20 teaching hours, each covering political history, political economy and international relations, security and diplomacy of the East Asia region Each module shall be taught within the frame of one week (Monday to Friday) and shall be divided in 10 hours of lecture and 10 hours of discussion. Teaching schedule includes one week in October, one week in November, and one week in January. The students who successfully complete the School and fulfill all requirements (60 hours of class attendance, assigned literature reading, and submitting 3 essays of 1200 words) shall be nominated for 5 ECTS points.

Learning Agreement Students have 3 weeks to change the Learning Agreement Deadline: October 19th The Learning Agreement changes need to be signed by student, our ECTS coordinator and person responsible for student mobility at student home faculty/university

How to change the Learning Agreement? Check with the Office for International Cooperation if a course is available Download During the Mobility part of the Learning Agremment Fill in the needed information (personal information, courses deleted, courses added, etc.) Send it to toni.kliskic@fpzg.hr or exchange@fpzg.hr for approval  Sign the document and bring it to the Office for International Cooperation after receiving the approval Send the Learning Agreement to your home faculty/university coordinator so he can sign it Send the scanned copy of the signed Learning Agreement with all three signatures to exchange@fpzg.hr

Attending courses at other faculties Students can attend up to two courses at other faculties Send the following information to toni.kliskic@fpzg.hr: Student name Name of the course Name of the faculty where the course is being held Information on have you already signed the Learning Agreement with the faculty in question

Attending courses at other faculties Pick up the Horizontal Mobility Form at the Office for International Cooperation Fill in the Student’s data part of the form Bring it to the Admission Office to have it signed and stamped Take it to the Filing Office (first floor, the first door to the right)

Attending courses at other faculties Contact the Admission Office and International Cooperation Office at the faculty you wish to attend to receive permission to join the course Make and sign a new Learning Agreement The course professor has to fill in and sign second part of the Horizontal Mobility Form – information on the elective course

Attending courses at other faculties After completing the course: Have the grade registered and signed by the professor in the Horizontal Mobility Form – information about the course examination Have it signed and stamped by the secondary faculty Admission Office Bring the signed and stamped Horizotal Mobility Form to the Faculty of Political Science Admission Office
