Things that are Precious: The apostle Peter writes often about things that are precious. He helps us appreciate the value of proven faith, the blood of Christ, Christ as our foundation and cornerstone, and our fellowship together in service to the Lord. Each of these these things is one of the “precious promises” that enables us to become partakers of the Divine nature. Things that are Precious: Faith, Freedom, Foundation & Fellowship

Things that are Precious Faith that is proven (1 Peter 1:3-7) (James 2:18-24; Hebrews 11:17, 8; Genesis 22:12; Acts 8:12; 18:8) Freedom from sin, purchased with the blood of Christ (1 Peter 1:18-19) A Firm Foundation for our service to God (2 Peter 2:4-7; Eph. 2:20-22) Fellowship in faith (2 Peter 1:1)
