In Relation to Hamlet The play has been acted out in the castle in various spots including the southwest corner as well as the courtyard and other places. (Weilbach) This is the main setting for the text and where Hamlets family lives.

In Relation To Hamlet The castle has it main roots in the 1600’s which is the era Hamlet is set in. For this reason the castle is significant because it is a representation of the time in the text. It shows us the era of the setting because of the consruction and design of the castle.
