Dr. Courtney Willis Physics UNC Magic Beads! Dr. Courtney Willis Physics UNC

As I was walking to class today I met a man who wanted to trade me some magic beads for the cow I was escorting down the hall. Since things had worked out okay for Jack and his magic beans, I went ahead and made the trade.

The man disappeared before I was able to ask him what kind of magic the beads had. So now I need your help!

I will give each group a set of beads. (At least one bead per person) Each group is to see if they can help me discover the magic in the beads if there is any.

Each group will have to communicate about any discoveries they have made (perhaps by email.) They might also want to explain how they made their discovery!

Each person in the group however, will have to take responsibility to write up a short one page explanation of what they and their group have found. The paper should be turned in on Friday. P.S. I want the beads back!
