MODULE 4: BRAINSTORMING

Brainstorming allows PEOPLE to think creatively. TWO OR MORE PEOPLE MAKE UP A BRAINSTORMING SESSION. A BROAD RANGE OF EXPERIENCES ADDS TO CREATIVITY. EFFECTIVE BRAINSTORMING REQUIRES CERTAIN SKILLS. A FACILITATOR CAN HELP TO GUIDE A SESSION. 1 2 3 Brainstorming

The brainstorming PROCESS is a simple one. THE OBJECTIVE MUST BE DEFINED AND COMMUNICATED CLEARLY. IT’S IMPORTANT TO AGREE ON SOME GROUND RULES. SETTING A TIME LIMIT CAN MAKE THE SESSION MORE PRODUCTIVE. DURING THE SESSION, ALL IDEAS SHOULD BE LISTED. THE LIST OF IDEAS SHOULD BE EXAMINED AND EVALUATED CRITICALLY. 1 2 3 Brainstorming

Changing STRATEGIES can lead to more effective problem solving. A RANGE OF STRATEGIES CAN STIMULATE THINKING. SOMETIMES IT HELPS TO CHANGE PROCEDURES EVEN MORE. 1 2 3 Brainstorming
