Remember the mission of the organization Make sure to emphasis and follow what your organization is all about Have pride in your group Review your constitution and speak with BAM/SGA for revisions

How to keep your membership up? Get to know them (Icebreakers) Make sure meetings are meaningful Keep in touch with members & create family Welcome everyone to join; recruit at events, classrooms, residence halls Keep things interesting

Events & Fundraisers Think outside of the box Speak with us in advance when planning large scale events Be creative with fundraiser (ask us first) Ask local businesses for donations Create events that you would want to go to

Working with your advisor Meet with them once the semester starts to go over expectations Adhere to advisor manual if they have questions or direct them to us Advisors are required to attend large scale events; they should want to go We work for you all (students), not them Keep them in the loop We are planning to have an advisor training this semester
