Introduction to the Western HVAC Performance Alliance Founded in 2009, the WHPA is an industry association that provides expert industry expertise to utilities, California public agencies, and other entities nationally and globally on improving HVAC energy efficiency. WHPA members have the unique opportunity to speak directly with policymakers and bring perspective on how potential programs and policies might play out in the real world. More than 30 work products have been developed by WHPA members, reflecting industry expertise on many HVAC/R and energy topics. People participate in the WHPA by joining committees and working groups, each with a particular focus such as commercial maintenance, residential installation, workforce education & training, and more (view all).
