The Special Verb be does not show action The Special Verb be does not show action. It tells what someone or something is or is like.

Use am or was with the subject I. I was the best player last year. I am a fast runner. I was a bad soccer player when I was in 2nd grade. I am a lvl 21 undead rouge named Goldead. I was a warrior named Rawdead.

Use is or was with singular nouns and he, she, or it. My best story is about when I was a baby. My rouge is lvl 21 by quests, fighting lvl 17’s, 18’s, 19’s, 20’s, 21’s, 22’s, 23’s, & lvl 24’s. My friend was lvl 42. My other friend was lvl 27. Arthas is awesome but evil.
