Mrs. Sypien does not have a voice today Mrs. Sypien needs to not talk for a few days so that her voice can get healthy again. Her vocal chords are swollen and need to rest. She needs you to help her out today. We are going to continue with our activities so we don’t fall behind We are going to limit our noises to our activities so we can hear when it is time to change activities We are going to do our very best Mrs. Sypien cannot sing because her vocal chords are not well. You will be using a C D for the music today.

MUSICAL WORKOUT 2nd Grade

Pitch Exploration Vocal Warm-up Bean Bag Toss Teacher tosses the bean bag in to the air and students will make their voice slide to match the bean bag motions.

Song Fragments Echo Songs Purple Light The voice on the recording will sing the song and each student will echo for a grade. Grade is earned by matching the notes and using your correct singing voice

Go Round the Mountain Simple Songs Small groups will listen to recording and do motions This will be graded based on ability to keep a steady beat in your motions. Remember this is for a grade that your parents will see!
