Title: Mount St. Helens leaflets Learning Objective: To be able to present information in an appropriate way Title: Mount St. Helens leaflets Starter: Write out the alphabet in the back of your book an brainstorm words related to volcanoes and earthquakes that begin with each letter.

Outline Task You are to investigate the volcano Mount St Helen’s (locate in an atlas map). The purpose of the ‘investigation’ is to gather relevant information from a video and text to produce an A4-size brochure of Mount St Helen’s geographical features for tourists who visit the volcano. Have you considered any of the following? e.g. details of altitude, relief, vegetation, hazards, eruption evidence, settlements and other human features. What about potential dangers that tourists will need to be warned about.
