What about the one? We need to be out in the world (building strong relationships): ‘You are the salt of the earth’ (Matt 5.13) We need to understand and connect with others in the world: ‘To the Jews I became as a Jew . . . . I have become all things to all people so that I might by all means save some’ (1 Cor 9.20, 22) 3. Our churches need to be watering holes for the world: An outsider or unbeliever may say ‘You are mad’ . . . . OR ‘that person will bow down before God and worship him’ (1 Cor 14.23-25)
