Following Jesus No Matter The Cost Mark 12:41-44

Luke 9:57-62 57 As they were walking along, someone said to Jesus, “I will follow you wherever you go.” 58 But Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens to live in, and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place even to lay his head.”

Luke 9:57-62 59 He said to another person, “Come, follow me.” The man agreed, but he said, “Lord, first let me return home and bury my father.” 60 But Jesus told him, “Let the spiritually dead bury their own dead! Your duty is to go and preach about the Kingdom of God.”

Luke 9:57-62 61 Another said, “Yes, Lord, I will follow you, but first let me say good-bye to my family.” 62 But Jesus told him, “Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God.”

Following Jesus No Matter The Cost Mark 12:41-44

The ___ to follow Him requires you to go all in cost

The ___ to follow Him requires you to go all in cost

Mark 12:41-44 MSG Sitting across from the offering box, he was observing how the crowd tossed money in for the collection. Many of the rich were making large contributions. One poor widow came up and put in two small coins—a measly two cents.

Mark 12:41-44 MSG Jesus called his disciples over and said, “The truth is that this poor widow gave more to the collection than all the others put together. All the others gave what they’ll never miss; she gave extravagantly what she couldn’t afford—she gave her all.”

The ___ to follow Him requires you to go all in cost

This is about going all in to see ________ surrender their lives completely to Jesus 40 people

We settle for a Christianity that revolves around catering to ourselves, our needs, and what we want to give. That is not Christianity. That is not what Jesus calls us to. The central message of Christianity is actually about abandoning ourselves and going all in with everything we have to see God build His Kingdom.
