Classroom Procedures How we put up homework…. Homework will be discussed after bell work. Turn in your homework after it is reviewed. How we use the pencil sharpener… You should have sharpened pencils prior to coming to class. If you need to sharpen your pencil, you will need to exchange pencils from the pencil holder. How we turn in late work… Turn in late work as soon as possible. There is a 10 point deduction for each day that an assignment is late.
Classroom Procedures How to turn in make up work… You will have one day to complete missed work for each day that you are absent. How we enter the classroom…. Enter the classroom silently, take your seat, then begin Bellwork. Do not carry on conversations with friends. How we exit the classroom… Gather all of your belongings and clean your area, put your binders back on the shelf, turn in your exit tickets as you leave.
Classroom Procedures How turn in our work…. All work will be placed in the tray designated for your class. You will keep all graded work in your interactive notebook. How we talk in class… Three levels….0, 1, and 2 Level 0 – Silent…No Talking Level 1 – Talk softly to your group member Level 2 – Talk in normal tone for discussions Raise your hand to speak…. Use accountable talk when responding… Be Respectful Let everyone have their turn.
School Uniform Tops – White, dark navy blue, gray, black, or dark green Bottoms – dark navy blue, black, or khaki No leggings or short skirts and shorts on any day.
Grading Policy Homework – 10% Classwork – 35% Class Participation – 5% Tests – 20% Quizzes – 15% Projects – 15%
Homework Policy Homework will be given 2 - 3 times a week for math class Homework is late if it is not turned in during class the next day. Points deduction: 5 points if turned in the same day but after class 10 point deduction for each day it is late

Eureka Math What is Eureka Math The new math curriculum for SCS Your new math book Math that focuses on your level of understanding as opposed to just right and wrong answers.
Objective The purpose of Eureka Math is to get you to UNDERSTAND what you are learning and be able to express your learning in through examples, pictures/diagrams, and explanations.
What To Expect Fluency drills Bell Work that reflects prior lessons Homework that reinforces daily lessons Classwork that contains fewer problems that require in depth explanations and answers
