Space By Joel Y5. About Space Space is a series of planets and stars, there are about 400 billion stars in the milky way and there are nine planets in.
Our Universe. The Sun  Actually a star.  About 333,000 times the mass of Earth.  Heat and light travel about MILLION miles from the Sun to reach.

Galaxy's! You are one of the billions of people on our Earth. Our Earth orbits the Sun in our Solar System. Our Sun is one star among the billions in the Milky Way Galaxy! Our Milky Way Galaxy is one among the billions of galaxies in our Universe. For years, astronomers were convinced that a structure known as the Sloan Great Wall was the biggest-known structure in the universe. This vast cluster of galaxies and other cosmic matter is a mind-boggling 1.4 billion light-years across. But just recently they found something even bigger!

Black Holes Astronomers have discovered what may be the most massive black hole ever known in a small galaxy about 250 million light-years from Earth, scientists say. The supermassive black hole has a mass equivalent to 17 billion suns and is located inside the galaxy NGC 1277 in the constellation Perseus.

Pluto In space there was a planet named Pluto , Pluto was a planet what was orange and black. Pluto was destroyed in space because it was known as a dwarf planet and it started to shrink, and shrink , and shrink and it was so tiny you could crush it with your hands! .

Uranus Uranus is a funny name for a “planet” and a lot of grown adults , children , teenagers laugh at it for its…..”name” but Uranus is more than a funny name it is the seventh planet from the Sun. It has the third-largest planetary radius and fourth-largest planetary mass in the Solar System. People call the planet Uranus because when telescopes were used, other planets were discovered. Astronomers decided to continue naming the planets after Roman Gods with one exception - Uranus. Uranus was named after the Greek god of the sky. According to myth, he was the father of Saturn and the grandfather of Jupiter.

Mars! Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun and the second smallest planet in the Solar System after Mercury! Mars named after the Roman god of war, Mars is also often described as the “Red Planet” due to its reddish appearance. Mars is a terrestrial planet with a thin atmosphere composed primarily of carbon dioxide.

Jupiter! Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system. Fittingly, it was named after the king of the gods in Roman mythology. In a similar manner, the ancient Greeks named the planet after Zeus, the king of the Greek pantheon.

Mercury Mercury is the smallest planet in the solar system its basic job is to go around the sun of its  87.97 days!!! It is named after the roman god and it sends a message to the roman gods

Saturn Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun and the second largest planet in the solar system before Jupiter!. It is a gas planet with an average radius twice as size of the Earth!

Days & Night The earth floats around the sun so on the side what is looking at the sun is day time and on the other dark side what is not facing the sun, is going to be dark (night time)

The Sun The sun is the most biggest planet in the Solar System , and the most hottest. When the earth is spinning one side will be facing the sun , that causes light (day time) for that side, on the other side witch is not facing the sun will have no light , so that will be night time. The sun is 5,778 k hot! if somebody tried to go on the sun they will burn to death! And I don’t even think they would haft to touch it!

Venus Venus is the second planet from the sun orbiting every 224.7 Earth days . It has the longest rotation in the solar system. The average heat on Venus is 864° , the temperature changes slightly traveling through the atmosphere .

Neptune Neptune is the eighth and farthest known planet to the sun in the solar system , in the solar system it is the fourth largest planet by diameter , it is also the third largest planet. Also Neptune is the roman god for water! (is that crazy?) it also has the second largest gravity to any planet in the solar system! (second only to Jupiter)
