Presentation transcript:

Choosy Chester Chester was a choosy chimp. He would only choose chocolate, cheese, cherries, chicken, chips, chilli or chops for his lunch. One day when he was chewing his choices he was chased by a cheetah so now Choosy Chester chews so quickly he nearly chokes. Suggestion on how to use: 1) Read the story to the children without them being able to see it. Ask them to listen for which sound they hear most often in the story? 2) Read the story again, this time with the children able to see it. Which sound did they hear the most? Which letters make that sound? (NB: Children should not be asked to read the story because it will include graphemes (letter strings to represent sounds) which they have not learnt yet. © www.SaveTeachersSundays.com 2013 (Images © www.clipart.com 2013)
