Do Now: QFT (7 of 10) Daylight Saving Time was first adopted in 1918 to conserve energy however, by ‘losing’ one hour of sleep we are actually squandering ‘precious’ human energy which in the long run could mean a host of illnesses such as depression, stress-related illnesses, ‘road’ rage, and other ailments that could result in lost productivity (high absenteeism) and diminish and hamper work related performance! . . . Is losing an ‘extra’ hour of sleep at the ‘expense’ of our health the right thing to do? . . . What do you think? How much ‘energy’ are we really saving? Sleep deprivation is nothing to play with! Should DST be extended year round or return to its pre 2007 schedule, 1st week in April and the last week in October? … 5 Minutes

Today’s Agenda: Class Work… Day 127 QFT “Maya” Video Debate Prep…Debaters for the 1st debate (4-8) must have a solid topic or issue by Monday, March 18, if not, I’m going to call off the debate. Understood?
